Long time basketball official and IAABO Board 33 Executive Board member Felix Addeo becomes the third of four “Distinguished Citizens” that will be honored at the Dan Finn Foundation Charity Gala on October 4th at the Matitime Parc in Jersey City. He will join retired New York Jet defensive end Joe Klecko and Jersey City Police Chief Mike Kelly in another rounded group of selections.
Felix is a CPA and Partner in the O’Connor Davies Accounting and Advisors firm in Cranford, N. J. having served in the industry for over 35 years. He has also held many positions on the North Jersey IAABO Board #33 Executive Committee including President in 1994. In 2008, Felix was named President of International IAABO.
In addition to his many exploits in stripes and in the books, Felix found time to be involved in a great many youth activities, especially the Secaucus Biddy Basketball and Little League Baseball programs. He was also responsible for the startup of the youth soccer program in his hometown of Secaucus.
A three sport (basketball, baseball, and soccer) athlete at St. Aloysius High School in Jersey City, Felix literally climbed the ranks in all of his endeavors to reach the pinnacle of excellence in each making the selection as “Distinguished Citizen” an easy choice for the DFF.
